    • Welcome to the ECOViP online training platform
      General information

      This platform brings together four training modules that aim to support innovation in entrepreneurship education within the tourism sector,
      with a focus on sustainable development.

      The first three modules (module 1, 2 and 3) are developed for lecturers, educators, and trainers in tourism and related fields. They focus on
      building entrepreneurial skills, understanding ecotourism and sustainable development, and applying innovative, SDG-oriented teaching
      methodologies in the classroom.

      An online module titled Introduction to Entrepreneurship, which is open to a wider audience. This module is suitable for students and anyone
      interested in gaining basic knowledge about entrepreneurship.

      All modules are delivered fully online in an asynchronous format, allowing participants to access the materials at any time and learn at their
      own pace.

Available courses

Module 3 - Innovative teaching methodologies to promote SDG oriented entrepreneurship in tourism

This module aims to provide an overview of the different scenarios and possibilities of curriculum upgrading for entrepreneurship education, the application of innovative teaching methodologies and the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education and its impact on the employability of graduates.

Module 2 - Ecotourism and sustainable development

This module aims to introduce the concept of ecotourism, its interpretation and application in different contexts, as well as the development of sustainable tourism products and presents regional ecotourism business models.

Module 1 - Entrepreneurship & Employability Skills

This module aims to provide an overview of the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, the base business creation model for setting up a business and assessing its economic and financial viability, as well as entrepreneurship implementation and communication techniques.
